What is collected
This is a static website. There is no account to create and no form that asks for your name, email address, or similar details. The games run entirely in your browser. No tracking script, analytics beacon, or per-visitor identifier is loaded by this site. Any page-view counts are derived from Cloudflare’s standard edge access logs — the HTTP metadata (such as IP address, referrer, browser/OS, and country-level location derived from IP) that Cloudflare’s CDN already processes to serve each request.
When advertising is displayed (via Google AdSense), cookies may be set to deliver and measure ads. Because this site is directed at children (see “Children’s privacy”), it is tagged for child-directed treatment, so only non-personalised (contextual) ads are shown — they are not based on your browsing history. For visitors in the UK, EEA, and Switzerland, consent for non-essential cookies is collected and recorded via Google’s Privacy & messaging consent management platform, a Google-certified CMP implementing the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. Your choice is stored in standard IABTCF cookies in your browser.
Some games store your preferences (for example, sound on/off) locally in your browser. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to the site or to any third party as part of normal use.
The site (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the games) is served by Cloudflare Pages. The standard HTTP metadata each request carries (your IP address and User-Agent) is seen by Cloudflare in transit as part of delivering the site.
Why
Aggregate page-view counts help me see how the site is used so improvements can be prioritised. When advertising is shown, it offsets hosting costs and keeps the site free to use. I do not sell or share data outside the recipients listed below, and — because the site is child-directed — I do not profile individual visitors for advertising.
Legal basis (UK GDPR)
- Advertising cookies (when active): your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), collected via the consent banner and withdrawable at any time.
- Aggregate page-view counts derived from the hosting CDN’s edge logs (no per-visitor identifier): legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in measuring use of the site without identifying you.
- Storing your game preferences locally in your browser: necessary to provide the game as you’ve set it up (Article 6(1)(b)).
Who receives data
- Google LLC — operates Google AdSense (advertising delivery and measurement when active) and the Privacy & messaging CMP that records your consent choices.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the site on Cloudflare Pages and serves it through Cloudflare’s global edge network, seeing the standard HTTP metadata (IP address, User-Agent, requested URL) it processes as part of the CDN service.
I do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Google AdSense and consent data is transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension. Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company; visitors from the UK and EEA are served from the nearest Cloudflare edge location (typically inside the UK or EU), and Cloudflare relies on the Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfers to the US.
How long data is kept
- Cloudflare CDN access logs (the source of the page-view counts): retained by Cloudflare per their standard operational-log retention; I do not separately retain copies.
- Google AdSense cookies (when active): up to 13 months per Google’s defaults; some technical cookies last longer. See Google’s cookies policy.
- Consent records (IABTCF cookies stored by the consent banner): 13 months per the IAB framework default.
- Game preferences stored locally in your browser: until you clear your browser’s site data for this site.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for children. It is tagged for child-directed treatment, which means advertising is limited to non-personalised ads, and we do not knowingly use cookies or identifiers to build advertising profiles of children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask me to:
- Confirm what data I hold about you and provide a copy (right of access);
- Correct inaccurate data (rectification);
- Delete data I hold (erasure);
- Restrict or object to processing;
- Receive your data in a portable format.
You can change or withdraw advertising consent at any time via the privacy options on the site, or by clearing the IABTCF cookies from your browser’s site data for this site — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Automated decision-making
This site does not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. Non-personalised ads are served from contextual signals, not from a profile of you.
Changes to this policy
If something material changes (a new data recipient, processing purpose, or category of data) this policy will be updated and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
